In the wake of yesterday’s attack on 2 private schools by their students, whose admit cards were denied by CBSE after the institutions were found not recognized, Democratic Students Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) Monday pressed concern authorities to cancel registration and NOC (No Objection Certificate) of wrongdoing CBSE institutions in the state.
While investigated into the incident, it has been found that a large number of students were directly admitted to class X and XII with fake registration certificates and mark-sheet. After knowing this, the CBSE authority denied to issue admit cards to these fake students of unrecognized schools- Central Institute of Science, Keishampat; Galaxy Higher Secondary School, Tiddim Road; Akash Institute of Science, Sangaiprou; Ramkrishna Higher Secondary School, Ghari and ASEAN Co-educational School, Moirangthem Angamba, President of DESAM said during a press conference held at its Keishampat Head Office.
Students of these schools are affiliated to MM Higher Secondary, Wangkhei and Little Rose Higher Secondary School, Canchipur. However, the CBSE authority has denied to issue admit card of these fake students, who are going to appear in the upcoming class X and XII examinations, he added, while stating the reason of yesterday’s school vandalism by miscreants.
Showing a bunch of DO and letters, Angamba said astonishingly without knowing the reasons some of the senior ministers and bureaucrats of the state including- Works Minister, Kh Ratankumar; Chief Secretary, P C Lawmkunga; DC of Imphal East, Joy etc wrote DO and letters to CBSE officials (Regional Officer, CBSE Guwahati and CBSE Chairperson) seeking permission to allow these fake students to appear in the said examination considering their future career.
