Sunday, a holiday for almost all employees, students and workers was mixed with multiple response from the General public as it rolls on with the indefinite economic blockade, counter blockade and the 24 hour state wide bandh called by ATSUM, MYFSEA and KCP Poirei respectively. The 24 hour bandh called from yesterday midnight was added as flavour to the indefinite blockade of ATSUM and the Counter Blockade of the same called by MYFSEA. Due to the KCP Poirei group 24 hour bandh almost all inter district buses, local passenger auto service stay out of the road. Traffic seen during the day was limited with only some few plying on the road. Entertainment like cinema, drama, concert and other activities were put on halt. The bandh also close the Sunday Market which use to open only on Sunday at BT road. For other shops and business establishment at Paona Bazaar and Thangal Bazaar Sunday is a non working day and almost all are seen shutting down during the day.

For some workers, govt. and private employees and youths spending the holiday the day was spend at gathering site like residential complexes and not at picnic spot which used to be crowded before. Many were also seen enjoying fishing at banks of Nambul River, Imphal River and Iril River as the water level to rises with the recent rainfall.
