The Staff reporter Huidrom Ronibala Chanu of Naharolgi Thoudang, a vernacular Manipur daily, has been selected for The Khelen Thokchom Trust (KTT) Media Fellowship 2021-22 award on “Vanishing playfields of Manipur and its impact on health and sports”.
Ronibala is a resident of Ishok Mamang Leikai, Nambol, Bishnupur district .She has seven years’ experience in journalism. Her educational qualification is Master in Sociology and Bachelor of Journalism.
The media fellow will explore the impact of vanishing playfields in health and sports of the society through research and documentation in the next three months with effect from January, 2022.
She will be rewarded a sum of Rs 50, 000/- to support her research and travel etc.
