Divisional Forest Office Chandel organised a Workshop for Village Authorities on Forest and Wildlife Conservation Under the Nature Learning Center, National Mission on Himalayan Studies (NMHS) Ministry of Environment & Climate Change, Govt. of India at Complex of Chandel Forest Division today.
DFO of Chandel Forest Division N.Ganesh, Retd.CCF Mahendra Pratap and SDO Chandel St.Rithung Anal attended the occasion as Presidium Members respectively.
During the workshop, resource persons Retd. CCF Mahendra Pratap Spoke on the topic “For Village Authorities on Forest and Wildlife Conservation”, DFO Chandel N.Ganesh Spoke on the topic “Forest and Activities of Department” and ACF Chandel S.L. Niang Thianhoi MFS Spoke on “Jhuming Cultivations”.
Village Chiefs of Chandel, DLO Officers of Horticulture & Agriculture Department in Chandel and CSOs attended the Workshop.
