IMC election campaign heated up

Imphal, May 30: The tempo of the ILPS demand agitation is slowly diverting with the voting day for the IMC election just 3 days to go. Blamed game between two the main political parties Congress and the BJP is filling the air in Imphal amidst the protest by JCIPLS supporters at various part of the city. Both BJP and Congress had field candidates in all the 27 wards. Other political parties too field candidates at some of the wards. As according to source all the polling booth in all the 27 wards has been declared as sensitive area.
Candidates are seen campaigning at its top at all the 27 wards. The ruling congress has distributed MLAs to take care of the wards to make sure the wining of their candidate. As for the BJP too, the two MLAs as well as hard core activist of the BJP had been working with hard and soul to make sure for their candidates.
Polling will begin from the 8 am of June 2 and concluded at 4 pm date of re-poll if any is June 4 and counting of vote will be done on June 6. On June 6 election will be completed.
