“Even as we are yet to appoint new office bearers, the organizational works of the party is functioning as usual as I have asked all the former office bearer to continue their respective service until new appointments are made”, the newly elected president of the BJP Manipur Pradesh, Professor Tikendra said while talking to Imphal Times over the phone.
He said that the new office bearers of the BJP Manipur Pradesh will be elected in the next few days and all formalities have been completed. When asked about any interference from the BJP legislatures or the parliamentarian, Prof. Tikendra said that those are rumours and there is nothing as such.
It takes time because of the COVID-19 pandemic, even at the national level too, no new office bearers have been appointed after the appointment of the National President JP Nadda.
The state BJP president said that all organizational structured at ground levels are intact and there is no loophole in the BJP’s strategy to win the seat whether it may be by-election or general election.
