Imphal, Jan 25: Governor of Manipur, Dr. KK Paul extended wishes on the occasion of the 65th Republic day, 2015.
In his message, Dr. KK Paul asserted that on the 26th Jan of 1950 India declared itself as a Sovereign, Socialist, Secular and Democratic Republic having its own constitution. The governor further said that the democracy of the country has grown from strength to strength and it has stride in all fields of development since the time of Republic day. He asserted that there is the need for harnessing the country’s youth power and channelizing it in the right direction while the youth of Manipur has also been marching forward as equal partners with the rest of the states in the nation building. Further the Governor wished to uphold the democratic values enshrined in our constitution for the prosperity of the country on this occasion.
