12 personnel of Manipur Police to receive President’s Police Medal

Imphal Jan 25: Altogether twelve personnel of Manipur Police have been listed for President’s Police Medal by Ministry of Home Affairs on the 66th Republic Day Celebration, 2015.

Out of these, two personnel are for President’s Police Medal for Gallantry, one personnel for President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service and nine are for Police Medal for Meritorious Service. The personnel who are going to receive President’s Police Medal for Gallantry are P. Sanjoy Singh, Inspector, Guite Khamzamung, Constable.

Soraisham Khomdon Singh, Inspector of Police, Imphal West District will be awarded President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

The nine personnel who are going to receive President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service are Christopher Doungel, Inspector General (ADM), PHQ Imphal, Manipur, Thokchom Bharatchandra Singh, Havildar, 1st Batallion Manipur Riffles, Imphal Manipur, Tongbram Sanatomba Singh, Inspector,  Mangjathang Haokip, Rifleman, Manipur Police Training Centre (MPTC), Pangei, Manipur, Yumnam Manglemjao Singh, Havildar, MPTC, Pangei, Manipur, Laishram Khamba Singh, Constable, Imphal West District Police, Thongam Nilamani Singh, Sub Inspector, Imphal East District Police, TS Chamna Anal, Subedar, 8th Battalion Manipur Rifles, Leikun, Manipur and Ningombam Dilip Singh Assistant Sub Inspector, CID (SB), Imphal Manipur.
