The first ever multi-parametered geophysical observatory to study earthquake in North East region particularly in Manipur was formally inaugurated at the Langthabal Khoupum village in Manipur’s Imphal west district near Manipur university campus today. Secretary of ministry of earth science government of india Dr Shailesh Nayak was the chief guest during the inauguration function of the day.
