Imphal, June 7:
The result of the Essay Competition titled “Covid-19 Pandemic and the Conditions of the Students in Manipur” was declared. Gurumayum Lunleima, Glady Kshetrimayum, and Lhingneilam Touthang (Anju) were declared the first (Rs. 3000), second (Rs. 2000), and third (Rs. 1000) respectively. The cash prizes were dedicated to late Eepu Dulop and Abok Mani by Dunlop & Mani Loktak Smoke Fish, Ithing. The jury members, who judged the ten best essays, at the online interview, held on June 6, 2021 were Beerjurekha Samom, Md Raees Ahamed, Monica Arambam, Priyobata Irengbam, and RK Gunikanta.
The best ten on essay are Leitanthem Seityajit Singh, Wahengbam Chelsea Alanjua Chanu ,Md Miraj Phusam Rajeshwori Kshetrimayum, Chaitanya, Hyderabad, Jeneva Khangembam, Oinam Langlenthoi Chanu, Irabanta Kshetrimayum, Daisy Longjamand Md. Tajuddin Bogimayum and all other participants will receive certificates.
The competition was organised by the Campaign for Peace and Democracy Manipur with the support of KanglaOnline, Yaol Publishing London, journal Beyond the Horizon, and Gateway Trading Academy Imphal.
