DIPR Photo contest cum exhibition concludes

On the 3rd day of the Photo contest cum exhibition being organized by the Directorate of Information and Public Relation, Government of Manipur at its office premises at Moirangkhom, Imphal, many visitors including students from different school and college were seen having a glimpse of the photos which are being exhibited.
At the lecture programme on photography, Deputy Director General, Film Division Joshi Joseph gave lecture on Selfie from your own skies.
Madhu Sarkar, Director of National Academy of Photography and an International Awardees’ in photography shows two photo story 1. Soil to Soil (ritual function on how Durga puja festival begins and ends) and 2. Varanasi (One of the oldest living city in the world).
During the lecture programme on Photography, Ratan Luwang, Vice-President, AMWJU said that a film making workshop will be organize very soon at Imphal, collaborating with Film Division, Government of India and Directorate of Information and Public Relation (DIPR), Government of Manipur for 9 days for 20 people who will be selected from this Photo contest cum exhibition organized by the Directorate of Information and Public Relation, Government of Manipur.
All Manipur Working Journalist Union, AMWJU will be the media partner for this film making workshop, he added.
