Dead bodies remains unclaimed

Imphal, Sept 25: The dead bodies of the mother and her infant child is remained unclaimed by the deceased family as the vehicle owner family failed to comply the demands of the family members .
Report says that, last night family members of the owner of the vehicle and deceased had a negotiation where the deceased family demanded compensation of Rs 15 lakh. As the compensation amount being high, the vehicle owner family manages to compensate Rs 5 lakh only. Unfortunately the deceased family could not agree with the vehicle owner.
The deceased Lalngaikim, 35, wife of Lalvarlien Hmar and her infant daughter Zosangkim who is not even one-year-old were crushed to death inside their home located on the roadside of the IVR at Kalinagar Part I in Jiribam, when the Tata dipper bearing regd. no ML-04B 8608 met with an accident and fell onto their house at around 12:30 pm.
