Imphal, Sep 26: Manipur Alliance for Child Rights (MACR) organised a one day state level consultation on the status of Integrated Child Protection Scheme/Early Childhood Care and Education (ICPS/ECCE) in Manipur today at Manipur Press Club, Imphal.
Attending the function as a resource person, Program officer, ICPS, Department of Social Welfare, Mala Lisam spoke on “provision given under ICPS and its delivery mechanism.” She said that the scheme involves in building a cadre of skilled child protection personnel and developing a comprehensive communication and educational strategy for child rights and protection. She added that the scheme provides child tracking system under a web enabled child protection management information system through which any trafficked child will be found in any part of the country.
