Imphal, Aug 5: Chief Minister N. Biren Singh has clarified that his government has not issued any order for celebration of Raksha Bhandhan at any of the government office. In his face book post the Chief Minister wrote, “This news item is fake and has nothing to do with the state government. Such order was never issued from DP or any state govt department. Legal action has been initiated against the newspaper for trying to spread fake news without attempting to verify from the concerned department. We are living in a world where misinformation can spread like wildfire. I request users to be careful with such malicious attempts to malign my govt.”
