CM calls on civil societies to cooperate the government

Imphal, July 28: Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh today calls on the civil society organization to co-operate the state government to the peoples demand for introduction of the Inner Line Permit System. Addressing the house after the question hour on the last day of the state Assembly session, Chief Minister Okram Ibobi said that the assembly house had adopted resolution to pursue the union government for introduction of the ILP two times. However, as the introduction of such legislation is not under the purview of the state government, we need to urge the union government, said the CM. He further called on the representatives of the civil society to be a part of the government team which was formed with representatives from all political parties of the state to press the matter to the union government.
