Victim families of bomb blast agitated in demand of compensation

Imphal July 28: Joint Action Committee (JAC) against bomb blast at Langthabal Kunja Mayai Leikai on July 12, 2014 today blocked the Imphal Moreh route at Langthabal Kunja and Waikhom Leikai area in demand of compensation for the injured victims in the blast.

Members of the JAC burnt tyres on the road in the morning at around 8 am and did not allow any vehicles to cross the area. Imphal-Moreh bound passenger and goods carrying vehicles had also suspended their service for some time due the blockade. However, police timely controlled the situation.

It may be mentioned that six people including a minor boy of six years who were travelling in an auto-rickshaw sustained splinter injury in the blast. Out of them the condition of three persons including the minor boy is said to be critical.
