Imphal, July 28: Troops of 24 Assam Rifles today detected an IED planted at the road side of National Highway No, 37 near Maharabi Village under Sekamai Police Station. The team of 24 AR personnel on ROP duty found a suspicious package at the roadside at around 5 am today morning and while inspecting the object found it to be IED. Bomb squad which rushed the spot safely detonated the device. The IED weight around 3 kg.
