Chief Minister flags off “Call of Bramhaputra”

Manipur Chief Minister O. Ibobi today flagged off the 1st leg of the cycle rally named, Call of Bramhaputra from Chief Minister’s Bungalow, Imphal.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister said that he was glad to learn that the cycle rally was initiated to reach out the youths and the people of the seven sister States the message of togetherness, strengthen the bond of love and oneness among these states.
He further said that the north eastern states are endowed with vast natural beauties, natural resources and talented people. All these precious gifts are hard to come by in other parts of the World. When the people inhabiting these areas have understanding trust, love and the spirit of sharing the Seven Sister States will be most sought after areas to visit and settle in the whole country.
The flag off ceremony was also attended by Sanjeev Shah, President, Swanand Adventures, Pune Sarhad, Conveyor and rally leader and participants of cycle rally.
