The recruitment examinations for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Upper Division Clerk (UDC), and Field-cum-Laboratory Assistant (FCLA) will now include Imphal as one of the examination centers, providing convenience to local candidates. This development was confirmed following an assurance by the Central Agricultural University (CAU) to include Imphal as a center for the exams scheduled for January 3 and 4, 2025.
According to a statement from the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Manipur, the CAU authorities agreed to the inclusion of the Imphal center after the organization’s persistent efforts. ABVP State Secretary, Gautam Philem, expressed gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor of CAU for addressing their request, emphasizing that this decision demonstrated a commitment to student welfare and accessibility.
Philem highlighted that the inclusion of Imphal as an examination center would significantly reduce the hardships faced by candidates from Manipur. He reiterated ABVP’s dedication to advocating for students’ rights and ensuring greater opportunities for education and employment within the state.
The ABVP stated that the move was part of its broader mission to address student issues and improve accessibility to major recruitment and academic examinations. The organization also urged students to prepare diligently for the upcoming exams, assuring them of continued support in matters related to education and employment.
