Almost all activities of BSNL including receiving of telephone, mobile and internet billing service has been completely put on hold as the employees of the BSNL Manipur begins pen down strike from today. The employees are demanding transfer of GM of BSNL Manipur Lunkim for allegedly assaulting an SDE of the BSNL over a petty matter in front of other employees. The incident happened some days back and the employees had earlier demonstrated protest demanding apology from the GM. As the GM fail to apologize the BSNL employees begins pen down strike freezing all activities of the BSNL Manipur.
