Block Health Mela &Telemedicine held at Kyamgei

The Block Health Mela & Telemedicine was held in the present of L. Rameshwor Meetei, MLA Keirao AC under “100 Days Action Plan” of new Govt. of Manipur and as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, organised by District Health Society, Imphal East at Multi-Purpose Hall near Dedicated 200 Bedded Covid Hospital, Kyamgei Mayai Leikai today.
The Block Health Mela to create awareness among the people about healthy lifestyle and preventive measures to safeguard ourself from communicable and non communicable diseases.
Today Mela, more than 33 stalls were setup by the various departments. The aim of the Mela also provided free Covid vaccination facilities, Cataract Screening, Ultrasound facilities, OPD, Health ID Cards for CMHA &NCD, CMHT, PMJAY, Lab. Diagnostic and others in the Clinical stalls.
IEC and Awareness Generating Stalls of Poshan Abhiyaan, DAC program, National TB Elimination program, Indian Red Cross Society, Eat Right Movement India, AYUSH, School Health program &Family Planning Services among other were setup in the said Mela.
Today Mela, Lourembam Rameshwor Meetei, MLA Keirao AC, Kh Daina Devi, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Imphal East, Th. Inaiyaima Singh, Block Development Officer, Imphal East and K. Manishana Leima, Pradhan, Kyamgei GP took part in the inaugural function of the Megha Health Mela as Chief Guest, President and Guest of Honours respectively.
The president BJP Keirao Mandal, Thingujam Tiken Singh expressed sincere gratitude to all of you for your presence today Megha Health Mela 2022.
