It is not illegal, law of the land does permit – Health and Family Welfare Minister Phungzathang Tonsing is getting married tomorrow. He is 77 years old. According to an invitation, Pu Phunzathang will be marrying Miss Thangngaihsang @ Sangte. She is the daughter of T Khamzadou of Hebron Veng, New Lamka, Churachandpur. Wedding ceremony is scheduled to be held at 1 pm tomorrow at Salem House, Paite Veng, Airport road Imphal.
Phungzathang Tonsing is the current Minister of Health and Family Welfare, GAD and CADA government of Manipur. He was elected from Churachandpur Assembly Constituency in the year 2011. His first wife Chungi passed away on April 17, 2011 after suffering from a serious illness. A memorial Stone in the name of his first wife was unveiled by Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh on April 17, 2013.
He was born on July 14, 1938 as according to his affidavit which means that he is 77 years old now.
