Anti-talk group of UNLF says responded to Pro Talk UNLF warning

Responding to the statement issued by the Media Coordinator of the United National Liberation Front (UNLF) led by Pambei on Sunday, the anti-talks faction of the UNLF led by Koireng said that it is not intimidated by the threat served by the Pambei group asking 12 of its members to surrender within two days. Koireng-led UNLF in a press release issued by its Secretary of Publicity, Central Committee M. Shak-hen contended that the statement issued by the Media Coordinator of Pambei-led group Charairongba was an attempt to mislead the people by peddling lies and hurling unfounded allegations. It claimed that the internal feud that cropped up within the outfit in June 2020 was resolved amicably by the Central Committee based on the evidence gathered by an inquiry commission as per the party constitution. It alleged that Kh. Pambei and his son Langjingba colluded with Indian secret agencies to put an end to the revolutionary war pursued by UNLF.
While Pambei was put on trial he rebuffed the allegations levelled against him and had pledged that he would prove his innocence as per the party constitution but later he deserted and sided with the enemies with an ulterior motive to disintegrate UNLF. He never agreed to face a fair investigation under a constitutional process of the outfit.
This episode became one of the core reasons behind the disintegration of UNLF, it said. It asked Pambei as to why he skipped a special General Assembly of the outfit if he was innocent and turned into a deserter Questioning the unprecedented peace agreement signed with the Centre and the State Government, it said that the startling revelation made by General Secretary Thanil of the Pambei group that the peace deal had been going on since the last three years with the establishment of communication with the State Government four years back clearly points at collusion with the GoI. It also wondered how Thangminlien who claimed to be the Acting Chairman of the Pambei group turned Nongyai after the “surrender drama cum peace talk” held in New Delhi.
It urged the people not to get swayed away by the “anti-revolutionary” activities of the Pambei group and come under their influence. It also appealed to the people to extend support to the efforts being made to bring the Pambei group under control.
