Helping Hands – Zeliangrongpui Chapter today organised its third voluntary blood donation camp at Shija Blood Centre, Langol, in commemoration of the 95th Martyrdom Day of Haipou Jadonang. A total of 22 units of blood were donated by voluntary donors.
The Chapter has been continuing its community blood support for Zeliangrongpui patients admitted in hospitals in Imphal Valley, using blood collected through its earlier donation camps.
The initiative was started to support our patients who often face difficulties in arranging blood from their villages in the hills, particularly during the ongoing crisis in Manipur.
The Chapter expresses heartfelt gratitude to Shija Blood Centre, all donors, volunteers, supporters and well-wishers for making today’s camp successful.
We appeal especially to Zeliangrongpui youths, students and working professionals from the hill districts who are currently residing in Imphal Valley to come forward and register as voluntary blood donors. Our donor network must grow if we are to continue supporting our people in times of need.
