Customs officials posted at Moreh have hauled up a woman along with 9 (nine) gold biscuit pieces worth around Rs 41 Lakh last Friday evening. According to sources, the officials detected the gold from one L Jibanlata (42), w/o L Token of Singjamei Waikhom Leikai while she was heading towards Imphal from Moreh. The woman has been handed over to Moreh police and appeared before the CJM, Chandel on Sunday.
