Unknown miscreants suspected to be armed Kuki Militants rain bombs at Meitei villages at Keithelmanbi under Patsoi Police Station early this morning. The suspected Kuki militants also fired rounds of gunshots at Moidangpok village areas simultaneously.
Report said that in the last few days, armed militants had been attacking Meitei villages at Keithelmanbi and Moidangpok areas using bombs and gunshots. Today morning too at around 4 am miscreants fired 3 rounds of bombs from the hillside of Keithelmanbi. Later, the suspected militants also fired gunshots at Moidangpok village. Village defenders too retaliated and the gunfight took place for around 15 minutes. There are no reports of any casualties.
