DM College of Arts Student Union today staged a sit-in-protest at the main gate of DM Arts faculty against the transfer notice of 13 teachers of the arts department which was released by the Education U on their website on February 11, 2016.
Speaking to the media persons, K Dilip Kumar, General Secretary of Student Union of DM Arts said that on which ground the Education U have released the transfer notice of the 13 teachers of the Arts department of DMC despite knowing that the classes have been going on since January 18, 2016.
DMC Arts student union condemns the transfer notice and appealed the concern department to rebuke the notice of the 13 teachers on or before February 16, 2016.
Different form of agitation will break out if the Education U fails to fulfill their demands, Dilip Kumar added.
Slogans and placards were also put up denouncing the transfer notice of the 13 teachers.
