Noted English author Belinda Morse , has recently passed away on the 15th of October . She was one of the leading personality from England to have been closely associated with many historical research especially in the events around the 1891 in Manipur and wrote extensively of the early movement and origin of Polo during the In the middle of the 19 century and its relation to the Manipuris and  British empire .

The last one was 4 years back where she helped plant flowers at Ema Keithel and Trees at Heingang Ching , with an aim to promote as the spiritual home of polo .
During her last visit to Manipur, she travelled along with her Husband.  Sir Jeremy Morse to Tongjing Maril , as part of making a film, tracing the route of Ethel Grimwood escape from Imphal during the 1891 conflict.
We at Blooming Manipur are very fortunate that Belinda was one of our active supporter and Advisor.
Belinda has been a keen Gardener and has been supporting the many gardening events of Blooming Manipur with an aim to transform some important parts of Manipur into blooming pride for the people e.g Ema Keithel ,Heingang Ching and Sendra Lambi /road  . She was very generous person and has donated many of her books, to raised fund to promote the community gardening activities in Manipur.
We believed , Manipur are extremely fortunate to have known and be associated with one of the most humble and kind person.
