Nongmaithem Linthoingambi brought laurels to Manipur by winning the East India Miss Glamour Overall Gold Medal at the Find Natural Mr. & Ms. India Natural 2025–2026 competition held from January 31 to February 1 at Rukmini Nagar Auditorium, Guwahati, Assam. She also secured one Gold Medal and one Silver Medal in the Find Natural category at the event jointly organised by the World Fitness Federation and Find Natural.
Linthoingambi, daughter of Nongmaithem Nabakishore and Nenikumari of Singjamei Chingamathak, Manipur College Road, was accorded a warm reception on her return at Bir Tikendrajit International Airport, Imphal. Officials of the South Asian All Sports Game Federation, led by its Technical Director-cum-General Secretary GM Ng. Jeet Khumancha, along with family members, well-wishers and members of the public, congratulated her. Chairman of the South Asia Federation Tui-shu Committee, Sifu Dr. Huidrom Romen Singh, also joined in felicitating Linthoingambi, her coach and teammates with traditional garlands.
Speaking to the media, Linthoingambi attributed her success to rigorous training and guidance from her coach, Konthoujam Punshiba, noting that such competitions are still emerging in Manipur. She expressed confidence of achieving further success at national and international levels.
Coach Konthoujam Punshiba said the achievement marked a proud moment for the state, stating that Linthoingambi became the first Manipuri woman to win a Gold Medal in East India Miss Glamour along with a Gold and a Silver Medal in the Find Natural category.
In the competition, Linthoingambi and four other participants from Manipur collectively won three Gold Medals, three Silver Medals and three Bronze Medals.
