UPF organises One-Day Fisheries awareness program

A One-Day Awareness Program on Fisheries was held today at the United Peoples’ Front (UPF) office located at Keishamthong Laishom Leirak Machin, organized by the United Peoples’ Front (UPF) Manipur. Speaking at the program, UPF Manipur President Nongthomba Rupachandra stated that UPF has initiated this awareness program in collaboration with the Fisheries Department, Imphal East, as part of its efforts to promote self-reliance among the people.
During the program, B. Harukh Khan, Fisheries Inspector (F.I), Imphal East, shared information about Biofloc, PMMSY (Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana), KCC (Kisan Credit Card) Loan, and the Construction of New Pond/Rearing Schemes.
Kh. Auliya Hassan, Fisheries Demonstrator (F.D), Imphal East, also gave detailed insights on NFDB Registration (Farmer Registration) and GAIS (Group Accident Insurance Scheme), providing useful guidance to the attending members.
