SEDO Hiyanglam, a joint body of 11 clubs in Hiyanglam, organised a felicitation programme to honour Wahengbam Renudhar, who secured All India Rank 652 in the Civil Services Examination 2025 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.
The programme was held at the Community Hall at Hiyanglam Laiphanganba and included an interaction session with students from different schools in Hiyanglam and Wabagai. The event was attended by Vice-Chancellor of Dhanamanjuri University W. Chandbabu, SEDO President E. Gandharupa, SEDO Founder E. Rajen and Senior Medical Officer Dr. E. Kiran, among others.
During the programme, SEDO members presented simple gifts to Renudhar. Wahengbam Renudhar also shared with the students how he prepared for the examination. He also spoke on various aspects related to pursuing such examinations in the future and offered guidance and advice to the students
Speaking on the occasion, W. Chandbabu said that for students to achieve success in life, they must work with seriousness, have patience and set clear goals. He also stated that proper guidance is important for students and added that parents and elders have a significant role in shaping and supporting the future of young learners.
