Imphal, Feb 13:
Prof. G. Sunil Kumar Sharma, Director of the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), met with Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, at Raj Bhavan, Imphal, today. During the meeting, the Director apprised the Governor of various administrative challenges faced by the institution. In response, the Governor assured his support in addressing these concerns in the best interest of the people.
In a separate meeting, outgoing Inspector General (IG), Manipur & Nagaland Sector, CRPF, Dr. Vipul Kumar, along with IG-designate, Rajendra Narayan Dash, also called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan. The officials briefed the Governor on the deployment and operational activities of the CRPF in the region.
Both interactions underscored ongoing efforts to enhance medical administration and security operations in Manipur.
