Manipuri films bag awards at 6th Roshani International Film Festival 2025

Under the banner of Dosuyali Film Production, the Manipuri feature film “Ashengba Eral”, written by Kshetrimayum Subadani and directed by OC Meira, has bagged several awards at the 6th Roshani International Film Festival 2025.
At the film award ceremony organized by the Film Education & Welfare Foundation, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, held at Maulana Azad Research Centre, Aurangabad, the film Ashengba Eral received multiple recognitions. Story writer and producer Kshetrimayum Subadani won the Best Script Award (Special Mention) and Best Producer Award (Special Mention), while the film itself was honoured with the Best Feature Film Award (Outstanding Contribution).
In addition, another Manipuri short film “Lokdown”, written by Kshetrimayum Subadani and directed by Seityabati Elangbi with story input from Khomdram Dorendro, was conferred the Best COVID-19 Film Award at the festival.
