A felicitation ceremony for achievers of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2025 was held today at the Manipur Press Club, Majorkhul. The programme aimed at acknowledging and encouraging the hard work of successful candidates from the state.
The event was graced by Dr. Palin Khundongbam, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Shija Hospital, as the Chief Guest. Prof. Khundrakpam Jugindro Singh, Principal of YK College, Wangjing, attended as the President of the function, while Globizs Web Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Managing Director, Roshnikumar Yambem, was the Guest of Honour.
Also present at the ceremony were Dr. Amitkumar Khwairakpam, Consultant Urologist at Babina Multispeciality Hospital and Chairman of Charles Foundation, and Deven Moirangthem, DYASO, Thoubal, Government of Manipur.
Speaking on the occasion, dignitaries lauded the determination and perseverance of the students who cleared NEET and encouraged them to pursue medical education with sincerity and dedication. They also highlighted the importance of producing more medical professionals from Manipur to meet the growing healthcare needs of society.
