Laipung committee condole the demise of Dhaneshwar

The Lainingthou Khoriphaba Khunou Laipung Committee has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden demise of Khumukcham Dhaneshwar Meitei of Irengbam Mamang Leikai, who dedicated his life to the welfare of the people through his active association with various national and international organisations.
Late Dhaneshwar was serving as the Vice President of the Lainingthou Khoriphaba Khunou Laipung at the time of his passing.
During a condolence programme held at Irengbam, the Committee, led by its President Khumukcham Jibon, paid tribute to Dhaneshwar’s devoted service by observing a two-minute silence in his memory.
Speaking at the event, President Jibon recalled Dhaneshwar’s significant contributions to the development and spiritual upliftment of Irengbam village. He noted that under Dhaneshwar’s active involvement, the Laipung witnessed major improvements, including the construction and enhancement of the sanctum, ritual house, Maiba-Maibi shrine, and essential storage facilities.
The Committee acknowledged Dhaneshwar’s enduring legacy and reaffirmed its commitment to carry forward his vision for community service and cultural preservation.
