The Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) has expressed profound grief over the passing of Heikrujam Ibotombi Khuman, Chairman of the People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK). Chairman Heikrujam Ibotombi Khuman @ Ngamdairen Khuman @ Oja Inao @ Oja Macha, aged 75, breathed his last on November 19 at 3:18 PM while undergoing treatment at a hospital after suffering from a critical health condition. He was a resident of Haobam Marak Irom Leikai.
In a condolence message, KYKL described Chairman Khuman’s demise as an irreparable loss to the revolutionary movement in Kangleipak and the Western South East Asia (WESEA) region. KYKL highlighted Chairman Khuman’s exceptional qualities as a revolutionary, praising his unwavering resolve, courage, and dedication to justice and freedom. The group noted that his passing would leave a significant void in the revolutionary movement, underscoring the challenge of filling the gap left by such a remarkable figure.
