First Patanjali Nursery inaugurated in Awang Sekmai

In celebration of Vijayadashami, the first Patanjali nursery and office-cum-godown was inaugurated today at Sekmai Khumbi in Thoubal district, marking a significant step in promoting agricultural development and entrepreneurship in Manipur.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by distinguished guests from the Department of Agriculture, including Geetchandra, Nodal Officer of NMEO-OP, W. Subhash, Nodal Officer of NFSM, and Khaidam, Consultant of NMEO-OP. Also present were Joshi Kiran, State Head of Patanjali Foods Limited, NMEO-OP cell team members, Thoubal DAO, local farmers, and staff from the Patanjali Foods Manipur branch.
Speaking at the event, officials highlighted that the nursery will serve as a hub for agricultural training, supply of quality planting materials, and support to local farmers in implementing modern farming practices. The initiative is expected to boost productivity and encourage entrepreneurship among farmers in the region.
