Dr. Thiyam Suresh Literary Award 2025 conferred to Moirangthem Rajendra

The Patriotic Writers Forum (PAWF), Manipur, today organised the 3rd Dr. Thiyam Suresh Literary Award 2025 at the Manipur Press Club (Loktak Hall), Imphal. The award ceremony, held in honour of the late Dr. Thiyam Suresh, was aimed at recognising literary excellence and contributions to Manipuri literature.
Eminent writer Moirangthem Rajendra Singh from Tentha was conferred with this year’s award for his remarkable literary achievements.
The event was graced by Dr. Thangjam Dhabali Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of Babina Groups, as the Chief Guest. Naoroibam Khamba Luwang, President of PAWF, presided over the function, while Nongmaithem Kirankumar Singh, former Convenor of the Manipuri Language Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi, attended as Guest of Honour.
The programme featured a floral tribute to the late Dr. Thiyam Suresh, followed by addresses from dignitaries and presentation of the award.
