As part of the ongoing Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan, which commenced on 17th September and will continue till 2nd October 2025, the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, organized a series of health initiatives.
On the second day, a Blood Donation Camp was held at the Department of Transfusion Medicine, RIMS, Imphal, along with a Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) screening covering hypertension, diabetes, and cancer. The initiative aimed to promote preventive health care and community awareness, while also encouraging the noble act of voluntary blood donation as a vital contribution to saving lives. A total of nine voluntary donors came forward to donate blood during the camp.
On the third day, a Blood Donation Camp, organized in association with Life Saver, was conducted along with a Drive for Digital ABHA ID registration. This was followed by a Yoga Session and another round of NCD screening covering hypertension, diabetes, and cancer.
