Prof. A. Santa Singh, Director, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal inaugurated Bronchoscopy cum EBUS suite, Department of Respiratory Medicine, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal today in presence of Prof. N. Sanjib Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS Hospital, Imphal and Prof. Sunanda Haorongbam, Head of Respiratory Medicine, RIMS, Imphal.
During the inauguration, Prof. A. Santa Singh, Director said that Bronchoscopy cum EBUS Suite is long awaited machine by department and it’s also world class machine. This machine will even help to post COVID patients when they face complication in respiratory system. He further mentioned that earlier PG number was only 2 but now it has been increased to 6. The increase in PG’s number will lead to increase the strength of department and automatically benefited to public. The machine will also help students at their training period and without this machine, intake of PG students will also not be possible.
The inauguration program was attended by all H.O.Ds, faculty, Chief Nursing Officer (i/c), staff, official and students.
