The 53rd Annual Foundation Day of the Ideal Girls’ College, Akampat, Imphal-East was held today in a simple and solemn manner. The function was marked by offering of floral tributes to the departed souls associated with the college.
In the function, awards and certificates including P. Randhoni Devi Memorial Cash Award, Foundation Day Special Cash Award & R.K. Munindro Singh Memorial Award for Excellence was distributed to the students of the college for their achievements in curricular and extra-curricular activities.
The function was graced by R.K. Gourisana Devi, former Principal, Ideal Girls’ College, Akampat, L. Iboyaima Singh, Principal, Ideal Girls’ College, Akampat & Kh. Nalini Devi, President, Ideal Girls’ College Teachers’ Association, Akampat as Chief Guest, President & Guest of Honour respectively.
