The 10th Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Manipur State Conference successfully concluded on February 17, 2025, at the College of Agriculture, Iroisemba, Imphal. The event marked a significant milestone, with 318 delegates from over 15 districts participating despite the current challenges in the state.
The conference featured an exhibition honoring Netaji Subash Chandra Bose and the bravery of the Indian National Army (INA), along with a visual presentation of ABVP Manipur’s annual activities. The exhibition was inaugurated by RSS Prant Sanghchalak Dr. Th. Naranbabu, COA Dean Prof. Indira Sarengthem, and ABVP State Treasurer Shri Deepak Ningonbam.
State Secretary Gautam Philem presented the annual report, highlighting ABVP Manipur’s contributions across education, social, environmental, cultural, and sports sectors. He announced that ABVP Manipur enrolled 11,972 new student members across the state in 2023-24.
The conference elected Prof. Premlata Maisnam as State President and re-elected Gautam Philem as State Secretary for 2024-25. The inaugural session was attended by Manipur University Vice-Chancellor Prof. N. Lokendra Singh, National Book Trust Chairman Prof. Milind Marathe, IIT Guwahati’s Prof. Uday Dixit, and other dignitaries.
