One of the signatory of the Suspension of Operation with the Government of India and Manipur under United People’s Front (UPF) armed wing of the Zomi Re-unification Front (ZRF) today made a press clarification on a proposed statement of the so called Commander-in-chief of the ZRF/KNO in connection of with the murder of K. Nengzamuan @ Nicolas, and the said that there is no person a name known by PS Hanshing acting as C-in-C under ZRF/KNO.In a press clarification UPF/ZRF C-in-C PS Hangshing said I was under UPF but not under KNO, and added that such impersonation is nothing but a malicious attempt to tarnish the image of UPF/ZRF.He said that it may be put on record that one self style Songlianlal alias Lalpu Hangshing himself to be a C-in-C of ZRF/KNO, but UPF/ZRF has no connection whatsoever with ZRF/KNO, and further said that ZRF has merged with under UPF on the 5th of December,2012.The clarification also said that it is unfortunate at the sudden demise of Nicolas.
