World Breastfeeding Week 2025 held at Jivan Hospital Kakching

The World Breastfeeding Week Celebration 2025 was held today at the Auditorium Hall of Jivan Hospital, Kakching, jointly organized by the Breastfeeding Promotion Alliance of Manipur (BPAM) and Jivan Hospital under the theme “Prioritize Breastfeeding: Create Sustainable Support Systems.”
The event was graced by Dr. Yengkhom Ashok Kumar, Managing Director of Jivan Hospital Kakching, as the Chief Guest, while Dr. James Elangbam, Secretary of BPAM, attended as the President of the function.
Prof. Th. Nandarani, Senior Executive Committee Member of BPAM and National Vice President of the Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI), North East Region, and N. Parango, District Programme Officer of ICDS Cell Kakching, also attended as dignitaries.
Dr. W. Joseph, Senior Pediatrician of MHS, attended the programmes as the resource person. Anganwadi workers and staff of ICDS Cell Kakching also participated in the celebration
