Workshop on indigenous performing arts organized

The Pathou Thang Ta Performing Art Centre, Manipur, organized a month-long workshop on indigenous martial arts and cultural heritage at Lita Makhong, Keirao Bitra Makha Leikai. The workshop was held under the initiative of a local organization from Keirao Khunou.
Eminent personalities graced the inaugural event, including Padma Shri awardee K. Sanathoiba Sharma, State Kala Academy awardee Puthem Mangi, State Art and Culture Coordinator S. Nabavolcano, and former principal Mutum Jadumani. They attended the function as Chief Guest, President, and Guest of Honour, respectively.
During the workshop, participants were trained in Khousarol (traditional martial art techniques) and Atei Thang-Ta Nachikhiba (advanced Thang-Ta movements). Various cultural performances were also showcased as part of the event.
