Imphal, Nov 4: Irate women folk today created ruckus at Chierap Court Complex demanding appropriate punishment to a person who was produced today at the court on charge of raping a minor girl.
The accused rapist was produced to court at around 11 am. As soon as the prison van carrying the rapist was notice large number of women gathered and shouted slogans for punishment of the rapist. The womenfolk were stopped by a team of police from entering the court premises. The accused is alleged of raping is own daughter. For this reason Imphal Times is not mentioning the name as it would reveal the identity of the minor girl.
