DESAM volunteers storms at CM Bungalow

 Large number of volunteers of the Democratic Students’ Alliance of Manipur (DESAM today stormed to the Chief Minister’s Bungalow today morning demanding action against the police personnel involved in the brutal assault of its president Moirangthem Angamba and 4 other member on October 29. The 5 volunteers including DESAM president M Angamba were detained in connection with a clashed between two students groups at Manipur University on the same day. The DESAM alleged that, 5 of its member including M. Angamba were brutally assaulted by the police personnel in custody.
Placards denouncing the police act were carried and the students marched till the gate of the Chief Minister. Police team which were present at the spot prevented the students from creating any trouble at the area. They were later driven out towards Keishampat site.
