Why the MU authority takes 2 months in declaring test result for Pre Ph.D programme in MU?

Imphal, Oct 17:

Something fishy smells in the selection process of candidates for Ph.D. programme for session 2021 at the Department of Teacher Education in Manipur University.
Report says that the Manipur University authority still is not declaring the name of the selected candidates even after the Qualifying Entrance Test (QET) and Viva Voce was completed around 2 months back. What takes so long for the University authority in declaring the result, is a question raised from various sections keeping an eye to Manipur University.
A total of 35 candidates appeared for the Ph.D programme at which 13 appeared for the QET. The remaining numbers are candidates who have been exempted from the QET and appeared the Viva voce. Notification for the selection test was issued on August 11, 2021 and the QET was conducted on August 18, 2021. Those who cleared the QET along with candidates who applied for the Ph.D programme went for the Viva Voce on August 20 and 21. It is October 17 today and the result of the Viva Voce has not been declared till date. Generally, the declaration of results for the selection test takes only around 2 to 3 days and no one knows why the Manipur University authority is taking too long to declaration of this selection test.
