Minister Biswajit highlights the needs for preserving culture and traditions

Works Minister Th. Biswajit today highlights the importance of preserving our culture and traditions while speaking to the closing ceremony of the 30 days workshop cum Production of Goura Leela held at Khongman Zone-3 community hall.
Due to the invasion of westernization and modernizations, various aesthetic art forms with cultural essence have been slowly eradicated from our society. The Minister said adding that people of this generation need to culture the aesthetic art forms with cultural essence.
Minister Biswajit further said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amt Shah, Manipur has been blessed with ILP and then the Mount Harriet of Andaman and Nicobar where our King Surchandra was sent for exile by the then British ruled has been renamed as Mount Manipur.
Director In-charge JNMDA, P Bilash and Director of Arts and Culture Ng Uttam also attended the closing function of the Goura leela workshop.
