War on Drugs : SP Ibomcha assures major change in 3 Months

Thoubal District Superintendent of Police Dr. Ibomcha while expressing strong concern to the rise of drug abuse in the district said that almost every family in the district have either one or two drug abusers.
The SP was talking to reporters in connection with the “Meeyamgi Numit” (Peoples’ Day) at his office room.
“Its alarming and the district police in hands with the people of the district will bring a major shift to counter drug abusers in the coming 3 months”, Dr. Ibomcha assures the reporters.
For that Dr. Ibomcha sought cooperation from the general public in fighting the menace of drug.
“Please feel free to get in touch with the police personnel, we will build good relation between the police and the public in two months”, the district SP said.   
In today’s Meeyamgi Numit , elected representatives of local bodies, members of club and other organizations in the district brought up issues about the rise in violence against women and children and problem of drug abuse among youths of the state.
Dr. Ibomcha assures to do the needful in tackling the various social lacunae.
